Utility-Scale Solar

Utility-scale solar power is one of the fastest ways to reduce global carbon emissions. Currently just over 1% of global electricity generation is estimated to be from utility-scale solar photovoltaics.  Projections suggest that by 2050 utility-scale solar could represent 20-25% of global electrical generation.*

East Light Partners believes utility-scale solar power plants can be developed in a way that balances environmental protection with societal energy demands and climate goals. We embrace the challenge of developing utility scale projects that will be welcomed in their local communities.
